I love this sweet little peasant top so much. When I bought it, I couldn’t wait to pair it with my navy paper-bag waist shorts, even if I was a little indecisive about whether I should tuck my top in all the way or not. This is the sort of top I can remember being drawn to at certain points during my childhood and teen-hood so I love that it’s timeless, ageless, and will come back in style again and again. I’d love to hear your opinion – do you like the top better tucked all the way in or not?
On Tuesday, my family and I went to a Train concert which was so much fun. I love Train and I’ve been to see them with my parents quite a few times now. Train was the first of my parents’ music that I actually liked as a kid. I think my parents started listening to them when I was about five and I remember begging my mom to play certain songs in the car (mainly the “butterfly song,” also known as “Get to Me”). I always love going to Train concerts because the music spans all the way from my childhood to songs that are popular now. My favorite part of the concert was when Pat Monahan covered Macklemore’s song “Can’t Hold Us” and I got to shock my dad by belting out every word and dancing along to it (the dancing part is a pretty big deal for this rhythmicly-challenged soul). They also had Gavin DeGraw and The Script opening for them which was super fun as well. I love going to concerts, I just wish I could go to more of them!
