On my list of things to do this October was going to a pumpkin patch and while Eric was visiting for the weekend, we made it happen! I wore my most “fall” outfit, which Eric made fun of me for, and we picked out the perfect pumpkin. We also treated ourselves to hot apple cider, pumpkin spice donuts, and a carmel apple! Yum! We also saw the new Paranormal Activity movie and carved our pumpkin. It was the perfect way to celebrate Halloween early!
The first time I wore this outfit, I had bare legs and sandals. That was just a few weeks ago and already I’m having to bundle up in tights, boots, scarves, and gloves. Today was also one of our first really rainy days and, as you can probably tell by my scraggly hair, I got caught in it without an umbrella. It’s crazy how fast time is flying by. It really is feeling like fall now and this term is already half way over! I love this time of year though. I’m trying to squeeze in as many fall activities as I can and appreciate all the fall colors before everything becomes cold and gray for the next five months!
I really loved wearing this outfit today. It feels a little bit more appropriate for spring than for fall, but it was just the right amount of layering to be totally comfortable all day. Plus, I love a swishy skirt and have been really into the idea of wearing a top over a dress lately.
I have been so swamped lately! Getting back into school has been a little tough this time since everything seems to be picking up so much faster than usual. I feel like I just went back and already I have essays to write and projects due! I’ve also been making running and working out a priority which has been awesome! It’s been really nice to get some exercise in right after class so that I feel refreshed and ready to get back to work. I’ve also been enjoying cooking meals and decorating my room in my apartment. There will be lots of DIY projects to come, for sure!
