This is what I wore for a little trip to the Adidas employee store with Eric this morning. He was less than pleased with my outfit, but I was going for something comfortable and casual. This outfit had been hanging in my closet for a while now so it was an easy choice. I’ve had these shorts for forever, thinking they were black and now that I’ve finally pulled them out and worn them, it’s very clear that they are navy. Oops! Regardless, I really need to wear them more because they are so comfortable!
I’ve worn this dress a few times now – once with a cream cardigan and black belt, once with a blazer, and now this. I can’t decide which combination is my favorite which I guess makes this dress pretty versatile. I really just like it because of the awesome print though! I’ve been eyeing this dress from work also, but decided that two dresses in a similar tie-dye-ish print was probably overkill.
Yesterday, I finally had a day off from work. I got to have a coffee date with my best friend who I don’t see nearly enough, went for a run, relaxed, and ice cream with my boyfriend and his family. It was such a nice day and I could use a few more of those!
I seriously can not tell you how much I loved this outfit! I wore it to work and felt so comfortable, pulled together and a little bit glamorous! I love the way this top (borrowed from my mom’s closet) looks belted over the maxi skirt and I’m always a little proud of myself whenever I can figure out how to mix brown and black. I was a little worried that this skirt would be hard to wear so before I bought it, I did a bunch of research on Pinterest. I came up with this outfit all on my own though so I’d say the black maxi skirt is a win!
