Paper Doll Project

A few weeks ago, I signed up to be a part of the Paper Doll Project hosted by Miss Vinyl Ahoy, where I would be paired up with another blogger to style and be styled by for a day. Each of us picked one item to for an outfit to be centered around and I chose this olive green dress from H&M. I purchased it a few months ago, but have yet to wear it so I’m hoping my partner, Megan from Made by Maison, will give me a few ideas.

Unfortunately, due to my poor planning and procrastination, I was not able to post my outfit yesterday like all of the other Paper Dolls. Ideally, I would have had my Paper Doll outfit figured out before I left on vacation (without my entire wardrobe), but instead I’ll just have to post it (sans wrinkles of course) as soon as I get back. In the meantime, check out the other Paper Doll pairs and look for Megan’s outfit styled by me later this week!

One Tough Girly

Between my biker-esque boots and black-based floral dress from Target’s reissued Go International line, this outfit was a little on the tougher, edgier side. However, when softened up by a drapey cardigan, this outfit had just the right amount of contrast that created an outfit that is definitely one of my favorites lately. It’s just different enough from what I typically wear to feel fresh, but still feel like me.

Carmel Apple

I got this striped dress for my birthday, but had to wait until after the 30 for 30 to wear it. I love the sweatshirt feel of it and the preppy stripes. Paired with carmel-colored tights and boots, this look is a little more fall than it is spring. I’m looking forward to some warmer weather so that I can remix this dress in a more spring outfit.
