I guess I was feeling very black and gray this week, with the exception of Thursday, which also happened to be one of my favorite outfits. Regardless, I’m halfway through my 30 for 30 and still have some pieces that I haven’t worn yet. This challenge hasn’t been too painful so far and I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel!
If you’ve really been paying attention, you might notice that this skirt was not one of my original 30 items. I switched the black skirt I originally had for this one because it was way too small! It’s not really cheating if it’s technically the same item, is it? I mean, no one can blame me for growing (or for eating a really big Thanksgiving dinner), right?
Regardless, this is what I wore on Saturday for one of my closest friend’s eighteenth birthday party. It wasn’t any sort of formal affair, but I still wanted to look cute and most of all comfy, so I went with a knit skirt and cardigan. Also, I kind of love all the different stripes going on here!
This is my first outfit of my second year of blogging (yay!)
and I like it.
I wore this for Thanksgiving dinner with my family.
I’m wearing pink tights (this is very exciting because if you didn’t know already, pink is my favorite color)!
I haven’t worn pink tights since I was really little (and back then they were hot pink), but I really like these as an alternate when my neutrals don’t look quite right, plus they add color in a subtle way.
