Sorry for the delay in updates lately, but I didn’t take my computer when I went on my class trip to Ashland and I’ve been so busy since I got back that I haven’t had a chance to post the outfit pictures from the trip. Anyways, I wore this for the drive down to Ashland and to see She Loves Me and Twelfth Night. I wanted an outfit that would be comfortable (five hours on a bus!), but I didn’t want to spend the day in sweats, so this is what I came up with. The tights and skirt were more comfortable than jeans would have been since I was sitting down so much and I was wrinkly proof! Also, the plays were amazing and I had so much fun on this trip! She Loves Me was my favorite performance of the trip – all the actors did an excellent job, the storyline was so cute, and there were plenty of laughs!
I came down with a severe cold over the weekend, but even though I didn’t feel well, I still had to get dressed for school and my mom insisted that I take pictures today as well so here we are. I wanted to be comfortable and didn’t have the energy to put a ton of though into what I wore today. The solution was to throw on this polished equestrian look that I had come up with a week or so ago, but hadn’t worn yet. Also, I love my new boots! I have a feeling I will be wearing them a lot in the coming months! I’m heading to Ashland for the Shakespearean festival with my senior class tomorrow, so stay tuned for pictures from the trip!
I have been on such a military inspired kick lately, which I really hadn’t even realized until I posted these pictures – right after posting these pictures. But who can blame me? I love the contrast of very masculine inspired pieces combined with girly florals!
