This week is my school’s homecoming so therefore it is also spirit week! Yesterday was twin day, although I’m pretty sure my friends and I ended up being quadruplets. Oh, well, the more the merrier! Our guidelines for matching outfits were a floral skirt, pink shirt, jean jacket, and boots. This was my version. It’s a little bit of a cowgirl look, but I love it! It’s been interesting trying to adapt the dress-up days to my own style (80s day should be especially comical!).
Jean jacket: Abercrombie & Fitch
Tank, skirt: Nordstrom
*Thanks Rachael for putting up with my random requests for outfit pictures!
Our weather has suddenly become crisp and fall-like so today I wanted one last chance to enjoy my skirts sans tights. I’m just not quite ready to start bundling up yet, but these 40 degree mornings might change my mind. I also wanted to make this vivid pink skirt work for fall, and I think with the help of a long cardigan and plaid scarf, it did! This skirt will also work long into winter with tights and more layers.
I still can’t get enough of the military trend for fall! This time I paired my new fall jacket with a denim mini-dress that really hasn’t gotten as much wear as I thought it would when I originally bought it over a year ago. I’m really excited that I was able to style a look with it that I absolutely love! I’m looking forward to styling it up again! I took these pictures at the end of a long day sitting in a desk at school so please pardon the wrinkles.
