Happy Turkey Day!

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because it’s all about spending time with the ones you love and eating good food – it doesn’t get much better than that!
While this isn’t what I wore today, I decided to post it anyway because it feels very autumn appropriate and, as we head into December next week, I will soon have to kiss fall goodbye. I wore this a few days ago as my take on the very popular plaid trend and I must say I was very cozy and comfortable all day!
But anyways, I hope everyone had a great time today and ate some yummy mashed potatoes for me!

Fall Floral

I really love this skirt, but because of its summery light-weight fabric, I wasn’t sure it would translate well through fall. However, pairing it with brown tights, a ruffled blouse, and sophisticated heels seemed to do the trick. I added this bright pink cardigan for a fresh douse of color and I was all set!

About Me

In accordance with my goal of someday obtaining a career in the fashion and publishing industries, I have created this blog as a place to express my personal style, record inspirations, and build experience in fashion journalism.

To me, fashion is deeper than just owning the coolest bag or the trendiest jeans. My love of fashion stems from my desire to truly feel beautiful and to condradict my generally reserved nature to let more of myself shine through. Fashion allows me to defy expectations and portray myself in different and exciting ways. This blog will drive me to push beyond what I am comfortable with and develop my personal style and taste.

I don’t claim to be an expert on fashion, but I do plan to challenge my creativity as I document my own personal style evolution. I hope to combine my passions for writing and fashion to carve out my own niche in the world.
